The Eagles dug too deep a hole in the first half, a fitting end to their season as a whole -- they dug a deep hole in the first half and dug their way back into the playoffs mostly through luck. Their luck ran out in Arizona.

I was in Vegas a few weeks ago, and we saw that the Cards were 55-1 to win the super bowl. By the time we got there, it was 32-1, so the $10 we put on the cards may end up being my smartest bet ever... :)
