No fooling... apparently just showing the stuff live on NBC during the daytime/very late at night and saving the slice-and-diced "highlight" reels for primetime isn't an option...
Posted by Anthony at August 16, 2004 05:16 PMActually, I don't have cable and I don't feel nearly as screwed as I have in years past.
I do hate the way they jump from sport to sport. And I hate the way they edit the "human interest" stories. It's like watching a rock video. I miss Jim McKay.
My middle finger is getting tired from flipping off Bob Costas everytime he makes a lame know-it-all comment, and I do pine for seeing sports besides volleyball, swimming, and gymnastics. But this is the best NBC has done in years, which, I know, isn't saying much.
Posted by mike n at August 16, 2004 06:19 PMwe almost got cable just for the olympics. i love to watch anything in the olympics, not just swimming and gymnastics. but i am too cheap to pay for cable.
