Comments: Poker problem resolved

I do play a little poker, very badly for the most part. I know just enough that I don't have the newcomer's advantage of being unpredictable, and I'm not good enough to be effective against someone who actually knows what he's doing. If we ever do get the GWABLPSBNLHEI organized, I'm definitely there.

BTW, what the hell was the other guy doing playing a 9-2? Was he in the small blind, at least? I was thinking he might have had K-2 and was trying to trap you by not raising too much on the turn. You got screwed by an odd situation.

However, as I said... a big raise on the turn might have saved you the grief. You could have represented a K-2, and there's no way he can stay in with a 9-2 if he has any idea what he's doing.

He had a big stack, and he was able to see the flop for the minimum bet. Plus, it was a free tournament, and people often play those things in sort of unorthodox ways.
