I missed it and I am still comfortable with my status as a South Sider in exile. May Lord Daley forgive me.
I caught that McCarver gem. I guess he thought the unique camera angle described better than words could. He was wrong.
A friend of mine heard this actually said out loud this morning: "I'm sure this Series is getting terrible ratings because nobody who cares
about baseball is watching."
So unless you are a Yankees or Red Sox fan, you not only don't matter, you do not care about baseball. I mean, how could you?
Posted by cljo at October 26, 2005 12:05 PMI made it to the end of the 11th and then I went to bed. There can be a difference between a good game and close game as illustrated last night. I kept asking myself, "Does anyone want to win this game?"
I watched the Twins strand 428234 runners this year. So I feel for the Astros fans who had to suffer through the last two thirds of last night's game.
And who (at least on the East Coast) was actually awake to see Blum's homer? One, and... just me? Well, it was cool. Worth staying up until 2:20 AM? Probably not, but then, I'm a crazy baseball fan.
